Blue Peter Book Award Winner


Shadow Forest by Matt Haig has been announced as the Winner of the overall Blue Peter Book of the Year 2009 and category winner of ‘the book I couldn’t put down’.

The book is a dramatic adventure story set in an enchanted magical world. Samuel Blink’s life changes forever when a giant log crashes out of the sky and kills his parents. As a result, he and his sister Martha are forced to move to Norway where Martha disappears into the Shadow Forest, a mysterious world ruled over by the evil Changemaker.
